is there a way to set specific floats instead of using the slider which skips over important blue gem floats like 387 and 661?

not currently it will be added later down the line because the ui framework dosnt support it yet you could try lowering your dpi and checking if you could set it like that

In the app, the pattern adjustment step is 4, i.e. you can only select float values in increments of 1, which would be more correct.

that might be before the pattern on skins was locked to 1k (it was 10k for some time) but it still might be an issue now just less
